It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Carl West of Conway, South Carolina, born in Long Branch, New Jersey, who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Astrid West and Reverend W. Winfield West; and his brother Peter West. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lynn; his children, Michael West, Marie Welsh (Dellaquila) and Anthony Dellaquila; his siblings, Bob West (Sharon), Nancy Belton and Kathy Heggie; his sister-in-law Donna West; and his grandchildren, Kristen Welsh (Nick Piazza), Dylan Dellaquila and Isabella Dellaquila. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Damiano Funeral Home (191 Franklin Ave, Long Branch, NJ 07740). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 7:30 PM and on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at the Woodbine Cemetery (1173 Eatontown Blvd, Oceanport, NJ 07757).
