He is survived by: his children, Tai Dixon of Conway and Sean Bromell of Atlanta, Georgia; his brother James Verdell "Dell" Dixon of Hampton, Virginia; and his close friends, Rev. Charles Busby, Sylvester Avant, Danthan Chestnut, Bobby Moore and Mike Fairwell. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cherry Hill Missionary Baptist Church (504 Church St, Conway, SC 29526).
