Edna Latimer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Latimer of Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mitchell, Sr. of Washington and Rhoda Bryant Mitchell of Supply; her husband George Latimer, Sr. (Grown-Man); her close friend Willie Canty; and her siblings, Dorothy Gore (Archie L.), George Mitchell, Jr. (Elvie), Charlie Mitchell (Minnie P.), Morris Mitchell (Pearlistine), Curtis Mitchell (Thelma) and Esther Kilby (John).

She is survived by: her children, George Latimer, Jr. (Kimberly), Marvin Latimer (Donna Walker) of Surfside Beach, S. C. and Patricia Smith (Woodrow) of Titusville, Fla.; her grandchildren, Bradleigh K. Latimer and Nigel L. M. Latimer; her brothers, James Mitchell (Lorraine), Carson, Joseph Floyd Mitchell (Lynn), Alvin N. Mitchell (Rebecca) and Upper Marlboro; and her niece Rosaland Lance (Michael) of Atlantic Beach, S. C. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving acquaintances, relatives and friends.
