She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Drake Lewis and Lottie Ellen Stalvey Lewis; her husband Scarborough King; her daughter Jo Ann Robinson; her siblings, Annie Mae Gasque, Lena Bell Barnhill and Issac Lewis; and her son-in-law Danny Cooke.
She is survived by: her children, Laverne King (Rosita), Danny Ray King (Teresa), Carolyn Cooke and Angela King; and her son-in-law William Robinson. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
