She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Long and Florie Long; her spouse Veston Haws; her children, David, Gary Hawes (Terry) and Angela Haws Skipper of Conway; her grandchildren, Ashley Riker of Surfside Beach, Randal E. Jackson, Jr. of Raleigh, N. C., Cindy R. Hawes of Clinton, N. C. and Mellissa Nix of Columbia, SC; and her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Mason, Jase, Madison, Clara Wynn and Austin Wynn.
