She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Stanley Kaplan of Conway; her children, Heidi Derby (Gary) of Yorktown, VA and Erik Ott (Chrissie) of Myrtle Beach; her stepdaughters, Leslie Barry (Douglas) of California, Donna Lewis (Mark) of Maryland and Iris Tuttle (Christopher) of Maryland; her siblings, Josef Hiemer of Germany, Theresia Haefele of Germany, Hudwig Ruebsaamen of Germany and Walli McGovern (Charlie) of Maryland; and her grandchildren, Mattaeus Ott and Christian Ott. She was also cherished by her husband, children, grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
