She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Powell and Mary Alice Walker Powell. She is survived by: her daughter Juanita; and her son-in-law Gabriel Negron of Conway, S. C..
The military honors was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Westside Memorial Gardens (2525 W Rd, Conway, SC 29527).
