With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Franklin Leamon Branton of Conway, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Leamon Branton and Kittie Bell Norman Branton; and his siblings, Rembert, Waldon, Jerry Branton, Emmaline McDonald, Wionna Benton and Doris Todd.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Boyd Branton; his daughters, Suzanne Lynn Dyson, Amy Irene Rabon (Benny) and Melinda Jill Branton; his brother Timmy Branton (Johnnie); his grandchildren, Lindsey, Madyson Dyson, Elliot Yarbrough, Josh, Ryanna and Landon Rabon; and his pet Danny Boy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Watson Funeral Services Chapel (2300 US-378, Conway, SC 29527). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Horry County Animal Shelter or Horry County Meals on Wheels.
