He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Alford Martin; his children, James Daniel Martin (Tracy) and Michelle Floyd (David); his grandchildren, Haley Martin, Bryce Grainger and Worth Floyd; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Skiba, Breanna Skiba and Christopher Jordan; and his sisters, Virginia Haithcock, Eunice Graham, Lunette Richardson, Barbarette Kovac, Dorothy Martin and Ruby Williams.
