He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Norris and Vera Carter Norris. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Fowler Norris; his children, Gene Austin Norris, Jr. (Michelle), Gina Norris Fennell (Peter) and Maria Norris Davis (Ray); his grandchildren, Grace Fennell, Caleb Fennell, Jake Davis, Hope Norris and Stella Davis; his sisters, Patsy Norris Buck and Marlyn Norris Myers; and his sister-in-law Hilda Suggs.
