She was predeceased by: her parents, William David Harrell and Ina Hardee Harrell; her husband Douglas Turner; and her siblings, Hal Harrell, Polly Graham, Dorothy Todd, Audrey Johnson, David Harrell and Billie Williams.

She is survived by: her sons, Clint Smith (Nicole Jones-Smith) and Landon Smith; her sister Fran Harrell; and her grandchildren, MacKenzie Jones, Lindsay Jones and Mason Smith.
