He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. H. J. Godfrey and Ethel A Godfrey of Hickory, VA.. He is survived by : his children, Alberta G. Godfrey of Conway and Karl F. Godfrey of Arizona; and his siblings, Miles Godfrey of Clinton, Maryland, Nora Williams of Brandywine and Ethel Godfrey of Oxen Hill. He is also survived by aunts, uncle, and a host of nephews, nieces, grandnephews and nieces, cousins, in-laws, and a host of friends, neighbors.
