It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Desilets of Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Desilets and Edna Desilets (Snow); and his sister June O. Kassiotis. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Desilets (Dwyer) of Conway; his sons, Richard J. Desilets (Danielle) of Lynn, Timothy E. Desilets (Danielle) of Salem and Daniel P. Desilets (Amy) of Peabody; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Madison, Daniel and Juliana.
