He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Richardson and Alice Rabon Richardson; and his brother Larry Richardson. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Richardson (Divina), Anne Richardson Jordan (CJ), Karen Cole (Terry) and Grace Edwards (Tommy); his sisters, Hazel Gaillard and Jenny Goff (Herman); his grandchildren, Shane Day (Courtni), Angela Davis (Reggie), Braxton Coats (Caroline), Chelsea Coats, Samantha Oatman, Joshua Oatman (Eduarda), William Richardson (Stephanie) and Brandon Richardson; and his great grandchildren, Aden Day, Mollie Day, Mikenna Coats, Blakley Caulder, Tucker Caulder and Gabriel Coats.
