He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter Bobst Sr. and Alma Sweat Meeks; his wife Patricia Bobst; and his brothers, Nelson Bobst, Dale Meeks and Jody Allen Meeks.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Tony Herdman, David Haynes and Ginger Herdman; and his siblings, Ricky Bobst of Aynor, Jean Merklinger (Ricky) of Texas and April Meeks of Conway, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.
