He is survived by: his wife Dee Dee Dew; his daughters, Lindsay Lucille Dew Tompkins (Stephen) and Kayla Dew Fleming (Lonnie); his granddaughter Ellie Jane King; his sisters, Carolyn Dew Ammons (Tony) and Hazel Dew; his nephew Charles Ammons (Kendra); Paige.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1314 3rd Avenue, Conway, SC 29526 in honor of Jim's compassionate heart and lifelong commitment to helping others or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 because of his deep love for children.
