He was predeceased by: his parents, Lockwood McCants Freeman Jr. and Letha Worsham Freeman. He is survived by: his close friend Lori McCormick; his children, Michael Jeffery Freeman, Christina F. Simmons, Angela Rose Guirdry and Melanie Heyne; his sisters, Jane LaRoche, Josie Taylor and Daisy Blair; and his pets, Rusty, Harley and Rocky. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
