He was predeceased by : his parents, John Jefferson Lee and Kathryn Margaret Brown Lee; and his son John Jefferson Lee. He is survived by : his son Mark Lee (Deborah) of Stedman; his grandchildren, Kennedy Lee, Kelsey Carter, Garrett Lee and Ashley Fairfax; his stepson Don Causey (Wanda) of Britton's Neck; his stepgrandchildren, Daniel Cribb, Tiffany Lee and Allison Broughton; and his sisters, Sarah Margaret Mangone, Jan Joye and Dorothy Ann Gettinger. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Devotion Gardens Cemetery (2931 US-76, Mullins, SC 29574).
