McCoy; his siblings, Inez Eaddy of Conway, SC and Therma Lee McCoy of Conway, SC; his nephew Al Pickney (Little Al); his great grandchild Joe Detrell Gause Jr. (Little Joe); his niece Alberta Hemingway McMillan; and his nephew James C. McCoy.
He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Kay McCoy; his wife Betty Burns McCoy of Maysville, KY; his daughters, Patricia McCoy Booth and Cynthia Johnson; his siblings, Reverend Helen McCoy of Brooklyn, NY and Willie Earl McCoy of Socastee, SC; his grandchildren, Alia Dickerson, Brianna Booth and Jonah "Brad" Booth III; his great grandchildren, London Harris and Mateo Williams; and his close friends, Art Ivey, Truman Barnes and Rodric Kelly of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
