He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Painchaud Sr. and Loretta Painchaud (Desmarais). He is survived by: his wife Rita Painchaud (Cangemi) of Conway, SC; his children, Dean Painchaud (Susan) of Cromwell, CT and Cheryl Tomastik (Robert) of Rocky Hill, CT; and his grandchildren, Joseph Tomastik, Nicholas Painchaud (Sabrina), Ryan Tomastik (Emily), Gina Painchaud and Steven Tomastik.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Of the Saint Josephine Bakhita Parish (767 Elm St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).
