She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene T. "Gene" Fowler; her parents, Walter Gary Sarvis and Lucille Pender Sarvis; her husband Buckwood Shell; her grandson Warren Scott Hucks; her siblings, Marie Norris, Genevieve Housand and J. W. Sarvis; and her brothers-in-law, Carl Hardee and Rev. Ford Norris.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda F. Hucks (Ron), Janice F. Cummings (Danny) and Cindy Goff (Roger); her grandchildren, Grant Hucks (Caroline), Brian Cummings (Jennifer), Justin Cummings (Jennifer), Heather Jones (Dalton) and Hunter Goff (Lauren); and her sister Louise Hardee. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
