It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Floyd of Conway, South Carolina, born in Loris, South Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laneau Brunson and Estella Clark Floyd; and her sister Meekie Faye Floyd. She is survived by: her husband Richard Parker; her siblings, Marlene F. Hopkins (Henry), Jack W. Floyd (Irene), Reverend John D. Floyd (Cynthia) and Brenda Floyd; and her stepson Ritchie Parker (ArClethia). She is also survived by three grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
