He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Hughes and Chuck Hughes; and his brother Kim Hughes. He is survived by: his sister Chandra Linder (Doug); and his children, Shannon Hughes (Jennifer), Kylen Partch (Adam) and Elizabeth Mares (Jason). He is also survived by six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
