She is survived by: her children, Barrett Cornelison of Charlotte, NC, Lesile Iles (Jonathan) of Gastonia, NC and Samantha Connell (Tom) of Houston, TX; her brothers, Bill Monroe of Salisbury, NC and Bobby Monroe (Bob) of Winston-Salem, NC; her grandchildren, Michael Connell (Bess), Will Connell and Caroline Schneider (Mason); her great grandchild William Connell; and her pet Bonny Brie.
