She was predeceased by: her sister Laurie Gillespie. She is survived by: her parents, Jimmy Gillespie and Nan Gillespie; her husband David Scott; her daughters, April Woolard of Myrtle Beach, Brandy Scott (Tia) of Myrtle Beach and Christi Rippy (Derek) of Myrtle Beach; and her sister Pam Blakely.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, 314 Laurel St. Suite 201, Conway, SC 29526.
