She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Leon Koon, Sr. and Doris Faulkenberry Koon; and her brother Irby. She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan (Ashley) and Josh (Katherine); her siblings, Marian, Nancy and Alton; her friend Frenchie Carter; and her grandchildren, Dylan, Berkeley and Hayes.
