She was predeceased by: her parents, Waterman Grainger and Clelia Williams Grainger; her son Danny Russell Cooper; and her siblings, Tyrone "Buddy" Grainger, Kenny Carroll, Paul Rautenberg, Nettie Ruth Lawson and Lynne Rautenberg.
She is survived by: her husband Don Cooper; her children, Mack Junior Cooper (Shirley) and Paula Cooper Cain (James); her siblings, Randy Carroll (Sandra), Stanley Grainger (Wanda), Wesley Grainger, Judy Ensminger (Charlie), Tina Carroll and Lenora Tindal (Ricky); her grandchildren, Ginger Cooper, Jason Cooper and Emma Lyn Cain; and her close friends, June Pitt and Angi Flowers. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
