She is survived by: her husband Richard Proffitt; her children, Angela "Angie" Royals (Joseph), Lisa Poffitt and Richard M. Proffitt; her grandchildren, Julianna Proffitt-Gore (Tresean), Jamirayah Proffitt, Benjamin Proffitt, James May, Jr., Richard "R. J." Proffitt and Alyssa Proffitt; her great grandchild Tresean "T. J." Gore, Jr.; her siblings, Joyce Ann Whidby, Lois Edge, Paul Brown (Ruby) and Archie Brown (Linda); and her pet Katie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
