She was predeceased by : her parents, Matteo Caravella and Vincenza Caravella; her son Patrick; her brother Samuel Caravella (Mary); her brother-in-law Charles Nuzzo; her grandson Christopher Meridith; her son-in-law Gerald Sease; her niece Caroline Nuzzo; and her nephew Bobby Nuzzo (Sam Hayden).

She is survived by : her children, John P. Ferranti (Anne) of Virginia, Cathy Sease of Columbia, Joanne Joyner of Aynor and Maria Ferranti of Florence; her grandchildren, Seth Ferranti (Diane), Daniel Ferranti (Jen), Lela White (Justin), Gray Meridith and John David Meridith; her great grandchildren, Madi Meridith, Emma Meridith, Luke Olson and Julia White; and her sister Dorothy Nuzzo of Concord, Mass. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Michaels Church in Garden City or to a charity of one's choice.
