She was predeceased by : her parents, Carson Hardee and Ruby E. Bratcher Hardee; her husband E. B. Edge Jr.; and her siblings, Fleetwood Gore, Pauline McDowell, Clyvurne Hardee, Bill Hardee and Jerry Hardee.

She is survived by : her daughter Daphene E. Phillips; her grandchildren, Heather Howard (Jay) and Joshua Phillips (Tracy); and her great grandchildren, Will Phillips (Lienna), Jaxon Howard and Lawson Phillips.
