He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis Melvin Kerns and Frances Scercy Kerns. He is survived by : his wife Linda Stowe Kerns; his children, Rob Kerns (Lauran) of Broadway, NC, Brian Kerns (Jennifer) of Sanford, NC, Jacqueline Powell (Robert) of Fuquay Varina, NC, Cortney Zwirn (Joey) of Clarksville, TN and Willy; his grandchildren, Jordan Kerns, Austin Kerns (Alicia), Ethan Kerns, Mia Powell, Charli Powell and Maverick Zwirn; his great grandchild Victoria; and his siblings, Wanda Davis (Neal), Larry Kerns (Pam) and Rick Kerns (Donna).
