He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel R. McCormack and Edward J. McCormack; and his brother Kevin R. McCormack of Ridgewood. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Minton McCormack.

He was awarded the Lifetime Membership in American Legion for his contributions to fostering Americanism while active in the Legion.
