She is survived by: her husband Benjamin Owens of Horry County, SC; her children, John Grissett (Aisha) and Alice Owens of Conway, SC; her sister Mary Alice Bethea Davis; her siblings-in-law, Sarah Margaret Spain of Conway, SC, Flora Chestnut (Dennis) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Marie Eaddy, Jannie Lynn Owens of Bucksport, SC, Minnie Bell Anderson, Fannie Owens and John Henry Owens of New York; her grandchildren, Jokira Grissett of Conway, SC, Jokhadijah Grissett of Conway, SC, Sherytijah Grissett of Conway, SC, Jasean Owens of Conway, SC, Jamir Richardson of Conway, SC, Michael Bellamy of Conway, SC, Destanie Wilson of Conway, SC and Jote'Ail Grissett (Tateannia) of Beaufort, SC; and her great grandchildren, Jaylah Grissett, Jenesis Grissett, Kamren Gore, Lamar Vereen and Zarryen Grissett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other family and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (1207 Grainger Rd, Conway, SC 29527). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (1111 Grainger Rd, Conway, SC 29527).
