She was predeceased by: her parents, Evan Hogsed and Ruth Hogsed; her husband Patrick Rutherford; and her brother George "Bud" Hogsed. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hucks (Teddy), Steven Rutherford (Christina) and Christi Coffin (Roy); her grandchildren, Ashley (JM), Haleigh, Evan, Tristan, Carson and Rilynn; her great grandchildren, Kayleigh and Kinslee; and her siblings, Kathy Delay, Selma Hogsed and Doug Hogsed.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Tilly Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery (4194 Tilly Swamp Rd, Conway, SC 29526).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Tilly Swamp Baptist Church Nursery Fund, 4619 Highway 90, Conway, SC 29526.
