He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Earl Davis and Cecil Mae Lewis Davis; and his son Kyle S. Davis. He is survived by: his son Kerry R. Davis (Lauren); his grandchildren, Margaret McKenzie Davis, Anna Elizabeth Davis, William Kerry Davis, Skylar Christina Davis, Kyle Randall Davis and Benjamin Rivers Davis; and his siblings, Samuel Eugene Davis (Pamela), Sara Sessions, Michelle Davis Reed (Mark) and Connie Davis Corkery (John). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, Post Office Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
