He is survived by: his wife Nora "Jo" Leigh McDowell; his daughters, Sherry (Robert "Bob" Hauser) and Michelle McDowell; his brother Buster (Maxine McDowell); and his grandchildren, Matthew Lee and Savannah Lee.
