With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Bishop of Conway, South Carolina, born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on October 30, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bishop and Edith Helmick Bishop; and his son Paul Allison Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Monika Russin Bishop; his children, Debra Pirritano of Acworth, GA, Donna McKittrick of Acworth, GA, Markus Lehmann (Sandra) of Bremerhaven, Germany and Katja Simpson of Conway; his grandchildren, Lisa Khan (Asif), Kelsey Black (Josh), Alex Simpson, Dylan McKittrick, Jaimee Lehmann, Julien Lehmann and Beau Bishop; his great grandchildren, Aidan Black and Asher Khan; and his sisters, Betty Evans of Hampton, VA and Nancy Marquess of Conroe, TX..
