He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. John C. Ropp Sr. and Sarah Beaty Ropp; his sister Sarah Cecelia Ropp (N. C.) of Atlanta; and his niece Elizabeth McNeill of Raeford, N. C.. He is survived by: his friend Robby Bopp; his wife Katharine McCaskill Ropp of Conway; and his siblings, John Conway Ropp Jr. (Linda) of Columbia and Miriam McNeill (Neal) of Raeford, N. C.. He is also survived by one nephew and three nieces; and 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.
