He is survived by: his wife Ellen McMackin Cary; his children, Kyle Cary, Brian Cary and Samantha Cary Whitehurst; his grandchildren, Henry, Natalie Cary and Philip Whitehurst; and his siblings, Robin Tresize, Ronnie Ellen Martinelli, William McMackin and Elizabeth McMackin Lovelace. He is also survived by spouses and many other family and friends.
