She was predeceased by: her parents, Dozier Harrelson and Elizabeth Sykes Harrelson; and her sisters, Linda Cox, Pearl Carland and Frances Simmons (Isabella Hayes).

She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Gail Hayes of Conway, SC; and her siblings, Jean Strickland of Tabor City, NC and Harry Harrelson of Loris, SC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
