She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Wofford and Sara Wofford; her husband William Winston Pettit; and her son David Winston Pettit. She is survived by: her daughter Sara P. Newton of Conway, SC. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
