He is survived by: his wife Helen Virginia Russell; his daughter Cathy C. Bibbee; his foster daughter Margaret Wells; his granddaughters, Alison Craig (Zach Frazier) of Martinsburg, WV and Marissa Richardson (Garth) of Conway, SC; and his siblings, Christine Evatt of Woodbridge, VA and Steven Francis Russell (Shirley) of Berryville, VA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
