We are sad to announce that, on April 30, 2023, at the age of 65, Stephen Sugg Powell Sr. of Conway, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard C. Powell, Sr. and Mary Belle Powell (Sugg); his siblings, Merri Powell and Richard C. Powell, Jr.; and his friend Heaven.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Lorraine Powell; his children, Kerry Poole (Charlene), Dina Britton (John), Becky Wilhoit (Jonathan) and Stephen S. Powell, Jr. (Erin); his grandchildren, John Henry, Will, Jill, Jenna, Gunner, Wesley, Russell, Karlie, Henry, Odin and Knox; his great grandchildren, John Graham, Kennedy, Jace, Beau, Katie and Anderson; and his sisters, Nancy Powell Nugent of Montana and Mary Beth Powell Cooper of Virginia. He is also survived by his grandfather and father, where he helped many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
