He was predeceased by: his parent Dale Lee Balch; and his grandsons, Tobias and Jasiah. He is survived by: his mother Ethel Mae McNeir Balch; his wife Melissa "Missi" Balch; his children, Kevin, David (Maria), Sean (Rachel), Rebekah (Josh), D. J. (Mykayla) and Jacob (Terri); his grandchildren, Carter, Jack, Kingston, Mason, Vieira, Hayden, Jelani, Tahlia and Jolene; and his siblings, Tom (Kim), Troy and Tonya (Mark). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces.
