Urilla Hills Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Urilla Hills of Conway, South Carolina, born in Neptune, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Urilla may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Urilla touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Edick Sr. and Essie Newbury Edick; her brother Walter Edick Jr.; and her son Richard Sager Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Darryl Hills; her children, Jason Sager and Sherry Sager Williams; and her brother Lee Edick. She is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
In honor of her memory and wishes, we kindly ask that in lieu of flowers, you consider making a small donation toward the expenses of having her and her beloved son laid to rest together in the family plot in New Jersey.
