With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter James Gardiner of Conway, South Carolina, born in Medford, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 10, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gardiner and Dorothy Gardiner; his wife Marjorie Gardiner; and his son Walter Gardiner Jr. of Rochester, MN. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Wood of Tucson, AZ and Charles Gardiner (Chuck); and his grandchildren, Jessica Edgar, Jonathan Edgar, Ryan Gardiner, Kevin Gardiner, Josephine Gardiner and Mary Ann Gardiner. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
