He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Mary Hutchinson Spain. He is survived by: his siblings, Mazie Brown (Charles), Gloria Spain, Sandor Spain (Marilyn), David Spain (Rosemay), Malcolm Spain, Teddy Spain (Charlene), Douglas Spain and Robert Spain (Susan); his adoptive parents, Phoebe Reese, Jeff Alston, Anderson Hasty, James C. Johinson and Edward McKenzie; and his sisters-in-law, Gloria W. and Emma Spain.
