He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ernest and Martha Elizabeth Cooper Sanders; and his sister Marcia Becky Small. He is survived by: his children, William "Stacy" David Sanders, Jennifer Sanders Martin and Caitlin Nichole Thompkins (Nathaniel); his grandchildren, Sarah E. Martin and Hunter T. Martin; and his sisters, Martha Jordan (Randall), Melinda Cannon (Wayne) and Nancy Goude (Billy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Services (2300 US-378, Conway, SC 29527). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2525 W Rd, Conway, SC 29527).
