He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Mauldin Brown, Sr. and Azalee Dukes Brown; and his brother Thomas Mauldin Brown, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Abigail Ellen Brown; his children, Jillian Leigh Long (Josh) of Little Mountain, SC, Michael David Brown, Jr. of Ladson and William Samuel Brown (Kayli) of Moncks Corner; his sisters, Eunice Beard (Steve) of Columbia and Mary Alice Brown of Huger; his grandchildren, Hudson Michael Long, Roman Dial Long, Wilder Bane Long and Millie Kay Brown; and his pets, Rufus and Buster. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dial-Murray Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Grace Community Baptist Church (579 State Rd S-8-357, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A burial was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at the Kingstree Memorial Gardens (11091 Hemingway Hwy, Kingstree, SC 29556).
