Anthony Glover Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Glover of Cordova, South Carolina, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Lee Cobb Glover and Willie Glover; his grandparents, Julia Cobb Walker, Walter Cobb and Iva Glover (Henry Sr); his aunts and uncles, James, Johnny, Eddie Cobb, Lorraine Sanders and Deloris Walker; and his nephews, Trevic Glover and Marcus Glover.
He is survived by: his daughters, Symba Glover of Orangeburg and Sasha Pough of Williston, SC; his siblings, Carrie Garvin (Jimmy) of Lexington, SC, Sandra Glover of Orangeburg, SC, Tawana Glover of Orangeburg, SC, Michael Gordon (Antoinette) of Long Island, NY, James Glover of Hampton, VA and Wesley Glover of Cordova, SC; his grandchildren, Kailaya Govan, Ava Eady, Amiyah Johnson and Ayden Johnson; and his nephews, Brandon Whaley (Tameka) of Orangeburg and William Whaley (Cathy) of Neeses, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel (2868 Columbia Rd NE, Orangeburg, SC 29118).
